I didn’t hurry through Break Dawn (The last series of Twilight) simply because once I finished the book, I felt as if it would all be over. As if the characters would never live in my world again. I don’t know if I could bare the fact of leaving the Cullen’s behind. Could you? So, when I heard that there was a new book coming out and it was pertaining to Twilight, I got excited. I actually heard that this book was available to read online for free up until June 5, 2010. You couldn’t download it to your computer, you had to read it all online. I did not get that chance. Did any of you? The new Twilight book is called New Novella.
It was released at 12:01 am on June 5, 2010! This is the short second life of Bree Tanner. It’s a one hundred and ninety two page story. It is the first new Twilight book, since Breaking Dawn was released two years ago. Wow, has it really been that long since Breaking Dawn was published?
The New Novella is going to be told by the voice of teenage Bree, who is a newborn vampire. You actually met her on page five hundred and sixty nine on Eclipse. Ten pages after this, she was dead. Do you remember the Cullen’s enemy, Victoria? Thirsty for revenge after her lover, James is killed by the Cullen’s, she creates an army of vampires, Bree becomes part of that army.
The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner takes place in the last week that the newborns are alive, before the major fight happens between the vampire army and the Cullens. You get to see Bree the last week before she dies. She has been a vampire for three months and no other details were released.
