I love “pumpkin time,” because when I put them in my living room, it always gives it a nice look. Pumpkins really do brighten up the room. Not just because they are orange. Did you know that there are green pumpkins too?

4 You Can Make Pumpkin Pie

I am not a big fan of sweets, but around Halloween, I like pumpkin pie. Pumpkin pie is one of my favorites. Around Halloween, you can easily get a pumpkin at your nearest grocery store, take it home and make pumpkin pie out of it.

3 They Have a Unique Look to Them

Pumpkins always have a unique look to them. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why I am obsessed with them? Pumpkins always have a different shape to them. I also love how some of them get bumps all over them.

2 You Can Carve Them

One of the reasons I like them is because you can carve them. Do you enjoy carving pumpkins? If you do, then you should think about entering your pumpkin into a pumpkin carving contest.

1 They Are a Halloween Icon

As many of you may know, my favorite time of the year is Halloween time. During Halloween time, you get to see all kinds of pumpkins. Pumpkins are a symbol of Halloween.
