5 Reasons Twilight is Better than Harry Potter ...

Sometimes, I think that Twilight and Harry Potter are tied. They are both good stories, right? Recently, I have been doing a lot of thinking and I think I like Twilight better. Below, I am going to give you 5 reasons Twilight is better than Harry Potter, in my opinion, because I know it is all a matter of preference.

There’s No Magic School

Yeah, this is a pretty good reason as to why Twilight is better than Harry Potter. Each year, they didn’t have to go to a school to learn their powers. They already knew their powers. However, a school for vampires would have added a cool twist to it, don’t you think?

UPD:

One of the charms of the Twilight universe is the innate abilities that vampires and werewolves possess. They hone their skills through personal experience and mentorship rather than formal education. It brings a sense of realism and relatability, as everyone goes through the journey of self-discovery. Imagine having your vampire mentor casually drop hints on how to better control your thirst for blood while you're out shopping, instead of sitting in a classroom. Now, that's a fresh take on supernatural adolescence that feels uniquely Twilight!

Edward Wasn’t a Dork

Yeah, sometimes, dorks are cute. However, Harry was a bit too dorky and I can’t see why girls even liked him. I do like the stories, but I don’t really did the movies as much. However, I like both the books and movies when it comes to Twilight.

Love Story

Harry Potter is not a love story and Twilight is. Therefore, in my opinion, I believe this would make Twilight better than Harry Potter.

UPD:

The emotional core of Twilight hinges on the intense romance between Bella and Edward. Their relationship is fraught with drama, passion, and the thrill of forbidden love, which resonates with many readers, particularly those who relish the escapism of a good romance story. It's the kind of love affair that has fans fiercely invested in the characters' fates, debating Team Edward or Team Jacob, and swooning over their favorite moments. While Harry Potter does feature romantic subplots, they're just that—subplots, rather than the driving force of the narrative. Twilight, on the other hand, places love front and center, capturing the hearts of its audience in a way that's uniquely its own.

Twilight Has Vampires

I like Twilight because it has vampires in it. I think this helps to make it better than Harry Potter, don’t you? Even just a little?

UPD:

Vampires add a sense of forbidden allure and mystery that is undeniably attractive. Their timeless charm and complex nature give a romantic edge that's hard to find in other supernatural tales. And let's be honest, the vampire-human love story between Edward and Bella is a magnetic narrative that pulls at the heartstrings. Twilight showcases the dilemmas and passions that come with such an enthralling bond, making it positively irresistible! The idea of immortality mixed with romance is a combination that gives the saga an added level of depth and excitement, perfectly fueling the addiction to the series.

Better Story

Personally, I think Twilight was better than Harry Potter because it had a better story to it. Twilight always had my attention and even though I liked Harry Potter, I dealt with moments of boredom.

Those are 5 reasons Twilight is better than Harry Potter. I know there are some pretty big Harry Potter fans out there that will swamp my blog with saying Harry Potter is better, but that’s fine. Nothing wrong with Harry Potter. So, are you a Harry Potter fan or Twilight? Or Both?

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

Who's with me?

I have read both but I don't believe your points are valid. To start off with IT IS FICTION meaning not real, and tons of people want to go to that magical school. I'm sorry but Edward is not realistic you will never meet a guy who will love you like that sure they might be out there but if so they are one in a billion. Do you know what love is it's not just lust and physical attraction it also has to do with the emotional parts as well and there are many different types of love and I'm sorry but Twilight only addresses one type of love. Bella gives up everything for someone she just met. She doesn't consider her friend or family and if she LOVED them she would. Vampires do not make a series good it is simple an aspect, and does Twilight have wizards. I have to disagree with you on the last count. Just because people die doesn't mean that it is a bad story people die every day and they were at war. people die in war all the time. Twilight may have had your attention, but Harry Potter had mine, and it made me Laugh, cry smile frown and feel the emotions that went through the book. and one last thing i have to add Bella nearly killed herself when the person she loved left her. When Hermione's love left her she supported her friend who need her and went to defeat the darkest wizard. and Ginny, when her love left her, she went to fight in a war though her heart break. and Luna doesn't care what people think, she really doesn't care. I would rather look up to those fictional characters than Bella Swan.

This is probably the most pathetic article I've even see. In my life. Harry Potter is an epic, timeless, beautiful, and magical series and it has changes my life in more ways than I can list right now. Twilight is a terribly written series with no plot, characters with no personality whatsoever, and for god's sake the vampires SPARKLE. In the SUN. Enough said.

Wow, 5 wimpy reasons why twilight is better than Harry Potter. 5 FALSE reasons.

I'm actually laughing at your logic.

Okay, well let me say that while you seem more intelligent than many Twilight fans, you're still not the sharpest tool in the shed. 5) This is what adds another layer of depth to Harry Potter. In Twilight, all of the creatures are just like, "Yep, I'm a vampire/werewolf, and I immediately know how to use my power!" Just another reason it's unrealistic. 4) How in the world is Harry dorky? He wears glasses? Okay, well y'know, sometimes, these people are born and they can't see very well. And they were sad, and usually died because they couldn't hunt or anything because they couldn't see. And then, society advanced, and eventually someone came up with these things called glasses! And now those people can see! I personally think Harry values his ability to see more than his lack of dorkiness, don't you agree? 3) Because the most important thing in life is to have a boyfriend, mhm. 2) Harry Potter has vampires in it as well. While they're not as prominently featured, they show up in almost every book. 1- Professor Quirrell kept garlic in his classroom to fend off vampires. 2- One of Gilderoy Lockhart's books is called Voyages with Vampires. 3- Ron and Hermione find blood-flavoured lollipops in Honeydukes, intended for vampires. 5- One of the answers to a question in the OWL's has to do with vampires. 6- Sanguini, a vampire, shows up to one of Slughorn's parties. Really, I'm surprised you could miss them, there are so many. 1) I don't see how you think Twilight has a better story. Let me summarize their two plots. TWILIGHT: Bella falls in love, she wants to be a vampire, Edward leaves, she jumps of a cliff, she turns into a vampire, has a baby, and never actually fights the Volturi. HARRY POTTER: Book one- Harry has to save a stone that gives endless life and wealth from Quirrel. Book two- a secret chamber is discovered and Harry has to battle a basilisk to save the school. Book three- an escape from prison and a discovery that, in fact, the man Harry thought was dead is alive, and an unexpected ally is found in Sirius Black. Book four- a competition turns out to be twisted, and Harry, the winner, ends up having to fight in a graveyard and see 'ghosts' of his parents. Book five- Harry finds out about a secret society called the Order of the Phoenix, and a new menace comes to terrorize Hogwarts, even managing to drive out Dumbledore with her abuse of power. Book six- several attempted murders occur within the school, and Harry is whisked off to a faraway lake where he and Dumbledore find a Horcrux, in one final battle Harry's long-time mentor is killed. Book seven- bits of information pulled from all six of the previous books come together and form a thrilling conclusion in which Harry has his final battle with Lord Voldemort, and is, after dying and being resurrected, victorious. Differences? I think yes.
